He ranked second on the team with eleven touchdown-resulting blocks in 2008. Sounds good to me.

Interesting - looks like they are addressing needs directly in this draft. Need a D, get some D, need blocking, get some blocking. I don't have any complaints so far. This guy could be handy.

Nice pick, I think he will be our starter on running situations while Korey Hall will be in on passing downs.

A good player, BPA on TT's board, I asume. Not the best pick to bemade though, imo.

The big question now is though, who will we keep? I can't imagine the Pack going into the season with 3 FBs on the roster and they're to good to put on the practice squad. Maybe a trade anytime soon? Or will we just dump one of them?

Isn't a great pass catcher and struggles at times adjusting to the play -- per a few websites I saw.

BUT ...

Apparently he hits like a freight train. Fast straight line speed. Should make special teams impact as well. Another converted LB to FB (from redshirt sophomore year).

Here's a snippet from a forum where the writer involved was at the Senior Bowl: "Fbs' - How could you not fall in love with the running style and vicious blocking of Quinn Johnson! Dude is an animal! Showed Good hands catching the ball and awesome, awesome power! His goaline run was the second best run in the game..You draft Johnson you got your power back! Kid can run! He drops his bads, explodes into the line keeps his legs driving(which look like tree trunks i might add) and plows through."
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Honestly, Kuhn was probably more consistent last year than Hall.

"Quinn Johnson just likes to hit people whether lined up on offense, defense or special teams units."

Methinks Johnson is going to see some goalline/short-yardage situations. 6'1, 250, fast straight line speed, good blocker, good hitter. Sounds like 3rd and goal to me!

Another very good special teams guy who can play a role well (lead blocker). Same with Matthews and Long, GB is getting good, passionate players who play with a consistent motor.

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : Cooper stock=BUY BUY BUY
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : Also notes he’s playing with more confidence.
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : @AndyHermanNFL MLF says there was a time last year where Cooper was at 220 pounds. Now he’s at 240 and still flying around.

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : I haven't watched the pregame shows in years and I don't feel like I've missed a thing
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Love says knee affected him all season, groin injury didn't help matters.
