Anyone hear anything about Aaron Kampman possibly being traded?

Nope.. speculation after Capers was hired.. but nothing more..

Unless they got huge value in return.. color me pissed if they move him.

Yeah, I just heard about it potentially happening. I think it's a bogus rumor myself. Because the Packers and everyone have indicated that no team is pure 3 - 4. And also Dom Capers said he will play to his teams strength per player. Getting rid of Kampman would be moronic. Unless Kampman silently is asking for it. Then I could understand it. I honestly don't believe Kampman would ask for a trade without at least trying the new position.

He's a 'can do' kind of player, not a 'this isn't my position coach' kind of player.

Huh? I haven't heard anything like that, and I certainly don't want to see it happen.

As much as everyone wrings their hands over his ability to play in a 3-4 scheme, the guy's a player and I've got confidence he'll be a leader for years to come.

The ONLY way that this could be considered "acceptable" would be if Kampman is asking to be traded.

Bright side could possibly lead to getting Andre Smith AND BJ Raji.

No way. They would trade Ted Thompson before they would trade Kampy.
