I don't think it's childish to call a poster out that acted as if they know more than a professional such as a lawyer. Trying to act like you (well, not you Z2C, but said poster) know more than a qualified professional is the same approach that got Aaron Rodgers unwanted attention on Friday (i.e., rambling to prove a "moral principal" point, trying to establish points of fact/law that just aren't true with respect to libel/slander laws, etc.). And if such unmeritorious prognostications are proven false, said poster has no one else but themselves to blame for being called out on their BS in the course of discussion.
Thank goodness Aaron Rodgers came to his senses and did a complete 180 on his approach so that we could all move on from this. And he isn't retiring -- Aaron's market is at least $40 million a year still (and assuming even a couple more years in the league means at least $100,000,000 in earnings when factoring in his earnings for the rest of this league year), and you don't give that up just because half-way through a season you got caught up in a shit storm.
If anything, it will likely make Aaron Rodgers even more pissed to prove a point - and whenever there is an added chip on Aaron's shoulders, his play is pretty phenomenal in response.
