49ers weren't afraid to throw at Jaire Alexander

I've often joked that Jaire Alexander stats are direct benefit of teams wanting to go pick on Kevin King. Last night the 49ers were not afraid to target Jaire and he got toasted a couple times. He also had an amazing cover speed interception.

He's seemingly having an off year this year according to ProFootballFocus.

His 69 grade this season is similar to the 71.9 and 72 of his first two years. Last year is the outlier (so far). It's possible that he puts it all together and finishes with a very respectable 85-ish. I'd take that.

They didn't put a WR into his zone a number of plays too, which freed him up for the INT and post snap read his receiver is blocking so blitz as well.

Yeah they threw his direction some, but they schemed away from him a good bit too.
