A couple of reasons the Packers supposedly liked him is because Ohio State ask a ton out of their Centers, including making the line calls, power blocking AND be able to make hard reach blocks early and often, all in am OT size bodies.

I thought Meyers was a good pick. I think he will be an instant starter and play like he's been the starter for 5 years! Go Pack Go!

Hi Arctic Fox. It's good to have you on board. I think we had a bit of a lull this preseason. Some of it was Rodgers overload. Some of it was because people were focused on the Bucks or the Brewers. Some of it was because nothing much was happening. This place is not going to have the highest number of daily posts but what we have is insightful. Most of the members get along pretty well. There are differing opinions like any board but we don't have a lot of the name calling that other places have. (At least not too often.)

Welcome Home. I hope you contribute often.

As for Josh, I'm glad they picked him up. He should play for the Packers for a while.
