The Green Bay Packers' tradition of riding bicycles into training camp is around the corner. What the tradition signifies is the end of an offseason and the start of forming a 53-man roster. Being that Green Bay wasn't active in free agency, the roster will look similar to last year's. Continuity could be a good

They potential could have great years though, as Dillon fills in as a power RB (with straight line speed) unlike the Packers have had since Ahman Green (Lacy had more wiggle, less brute force and less speed). And Rodgers while yes he'll fill in at slot (but so will the young TEs and large WRs), I think Rodgers big role early on will be replacing Tyler Ervin as punt returner and sweep guy as well as slot role too, but Tonyan, Funchess, St. Brown, Dugara and more are also eyeing that slot role.

You want some real sleepers?

OL Braden, Packers coaches have talked he might be in the running for competing for starting time and they had him at LT in OTAs with Bak injured.

OL Runyan, who might be also competiting with Braden and Myers, Patrick for the last couple of starting spots.

CB Jean-Charles, he played all the ST units which will get on on the field quicker and more likely to be on STs than Jackson or Hollman and coaches raved about his smarts and he's mainly playing in the slot which seems to have a lower bar to get into a starting role with basically only Sullivan there for that vets. Savage/Amos might also be able to play nickel, but then but then you need someone to replace them deep.

LB Martin, I don't know if we're following the same Rams scheme, but if we are that could be great news for Martin, as it calls for DL to focus more on penetrating into the backfield asks the ILBers to attack down the field which Martin loves to do and he's great at! In fact, he needs to be less aggressive than last year and watch for cut backs, but this scheme could be playing more towards his strengths.

TE Dugara, yeah it's a high draft pick, but he was injured in week 2 for the season last year... but in week 1, against a depleted Vikings defense which lost a ton of guys in FA... he looked like he could have the best potential H-Back/FB the Packers had since William Henderson, and no one is talking about him having a larger role (while lots of people are talking about Dillion having a bigger role).

Also DL Salton, again I don't totally know what they're doing up front in this new scheme, but if they want a two gap 5 tech Slaton might become the best we have (though usually rookie DTs struggle, so probably more of a next year thing).

It's a good list Beast.
I kinda laughed at the term "young sleepers." I don't know how many players are 4-5 year vets and still considered to be sleepers.

Players on my list would include-

Kylin Hill. Not because he is going to rush for 500 yards or score 8 tds but he just might become the 3rd RB and contribute on ST.

T.J. Slaton. Again he isn't going to take Clark's job. Probably not even take Lowry's job but he could help stabilize the run defense. Anything would help.
