I know people can't remember what they ate for breakfast, but lets not forget this. So, when you pound your chest saying Aaron Rodgers can end this, you're full of shit. Here's one example from January of THIS DAMN YEAR.

He himself said "I don't think that there is any reason why I wouldn't be back".

The phook more do you want?

He could end it by showing up to work, or retiring.
He does control that.
At the time he made that statement, he said that he didn’t see any reason why he wouldn’t be the Packers QB.
Obviously, he now has a “reason”.
Zero, why do you keep trying to defend the guy? Saying stuff like anyone that doesn’t think he’s innocent in this “game” is full of you-know-what?
He DOES control much of what he does. Play here or retire. He wasn’t complaining when the Packers gave him what was at the time, the most money a QB ever got. He DID sign that deal, didn’t he?
Like I have said over and over, what exactly does “it’s about the people” actually mean? Sounds to me like a made up excuse with no substance.
Just fancy talk to take away any responsibility he has.
I wish he would come out and admit the real reason he has a bug up his butt.
If it’s because he hates people in the front office, just admit it.
Or whatever has put his panties in a bunch.
He has control over making all this a non issue.

The "not necessarily" in his control is the part where Green Bay could trade him. In theory they could send him to any of the other 31 teams for a conditional 7th round pick. They won't do that. My guess is he currently doesn't have a no trade clause so he can't stop them. More than likely he and his agent never envisioned needing the clause. Why would they? He was going to be a Packer for life.

The rest of it is 100% in his control no matter what he says. Green Bay management has said over and over and over again. They will not trade him. They in fact want him back. Whether or not he comes back is up to him and him alone. No one needs to do anything else for him to come back. He doesn't need a new contract. He doesn't need an extension. He doesn't have to wait until certain players are brought in or certain people in the front office are let go. If the Packers do not trade him there is nothing hindering him from walking through the front door at 1265 Lombardi Ave.

He wants something or he will sit at home. The organization is not required to give it to him. Everything else is just grandstanding and spin control.

Then if the subject (e.g. Aaron Rodgers) doesn't come running to their defense, it's assumed to be true. This is how the media cycle manipulates people and I absolutely despise it. It's unjust and wrong.

The bottom line is I do not know he's innocent, nor do I know he's at fault. Yet, the "reports" will tell anyone who will listen otherwise. People have thrown out common sense. They have thrown out logic. Hell, they refuse to think critically and just take the instant gratification headlines as fact. I busted NBC Edge for exactly this just the other day!

If you think this about defending Aaron Rodgers, so be it. I honestly do not really care what he does. I've listened to damn near every interview, press conference, etc of his and how he's being portrayed is fucking bullshit. No way should anyone have to repeatedly defend themselves because piece of shit lowlifes cannot find stories to write so they take the low hanging fruit. The same bullshit happened with Brett Favre and the list of other athletes.

The media has a responsibility and they are FAILING the people. I'm seeing less and less people give benefit of doubt. I'm seeing less and less people try to get FACTS. Nope, we ain't got time for that. ESPN said it, so it must be true! NFL Network said it so must be true!

I've explained several times what I believe the issue with Aaron Rodgers is. And because I'm not some clickbait fucktard who twists shit around it goes unnoticed. Why? Because no one wants the mother fucking facts. It's easier to BURY someone than to EMPATHIZE with someone and people are fucking lazy.

I'm turning into Betty White, I need a Snickers.

Edit, BTW, just to be clear. I'm not at all upset with you Alan, or frustrated with you. My angst is aimed directly at one profession.
