Yup, it will not exceed that amount -- good call out.
The higher the amount -- regardless of the obvious fact that every team gets an equal share -- means the Packers will have to do less financial gymnastics to get under the cap.
Let's go crazy and say if each team gets $230 million to spend, that means the Packers can get under the cap much easier than let's say if it was $160 million. Will they be able to outbid teams in free agency? No, but do the Packers get into bidding wars? No. Moot point.
I do love us fans though. We're not even into the 2021 season and we're all fretting about 2022 salary cap. We just do not know how to enjoy the present day, haha.
