I thought they might do this simply to avoid just too many pieces being moved around this offseason but after this game I don't think it'll happen.

All I know is cap is looking bad for next year. Remember how people use to hate Ted Thompson for letting players walk / cutting some players during their mid careers.

Top three picks should be DL, DL, and WR, in any order.

King will come back cheap. I thought Jackson held up in his playing time. Could also be a safety/hybrid guy unless he doesn't want that.

We just went yo the NFCCG two years in a row, and we are still.on the ascent.

And btw, Aaron is "wasting" his own career. At least he cut down on turnovers since last year's NFCCG.

Hard to imagine anyone covering worse than King - including a rookie. Done with him.

He can take Pettine with him... and Zook

I'm not gonna go off-topic, but needless to say their wasn't any glaring area of weakness in terms of talent that led to this NFCCG loss (note: I'm excluding the fact that Bakthari was injured; an all-pro LT probably gets us a win today ... but just the luck of the draw that our own all-pro LT who fit the bill got injured less than a month ago in practice).

I really, really hope King is gone. Kevin King has been injury prone in his time with GB, had no picks, and has shown himself to be lacking technique (both coverage and in tackling). This is probably the sour taste in my mouth still talking, but I'd rather move on from King (and Sullivan) and force ourselves to improve at CB. Other than on a vet. minimum, I just don't know what value or return on investment the Packers get by bringing back Kevin King.

This team is obviously ready to win now. Love is no Rodgers. He was never even thought about going 1st overall, or even top 10 really. Completely different situation. I will criticize it because there were so many needs we had at the time. Yet we still somehow made it as far as we did. Does nothing but continue to waste Rodgers career.

You draft for the future and you plug in holes with free agents.

I will say this. It does beg me to question if Aaron Rodgers had been more prolific in 2019, if the best player on the board would have been someone else other than QB Jordan Love. That four year contract extension signed in 2018 looms large.

Oh yeah, I mentioned this topic is about Kevin King. I think the Packers overvalue him. He's often injured or dinged up and he's another one of those guys I don't like because he celebrates the WR dropping the ball as if he did something. He can kick rocks.

Unless they trade ALL their draft picks to move up where they MIGHT get an instant difference maker, you probably won’t get a great player.
And getting to the conference championship puts you as a #30 pick.
So doing good (not great with a SB win) you are going to not get a high draft pick.

I heard that Kevin King has been in the hospital in Green Bay since the NFC title game.
He’s been in the “burn unit”. The doctors say they never saw someone with that many burns survive.

beast (7h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (7h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (17h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (17h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (19h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (20h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (21h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (21h) : Thank you
wpr (21h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (21h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (21h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (21h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (21h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
