Daft day has finally arrived (almost).
What are your plans for the day?

I have a Civil War Meeting in the morning. I figured I would pass the long hours before and after GB's pick working outside. Run in and check the newest posts on PackersHome.com from time to time. As the day wears on I will fire up the grill and cook some steaks for the Mrs and myself and read more posts on PH.

They are going to stream the draft on nfl.com...

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/live/landing

Me.. hand the wife X amount of cash and instructions to take the kids someplace nice and shop til your hearts content.. lol..

That way I can watch the draft in peace.. lol.. either that or I will land at a pub and spend the money myself.. lol.

Next to opening day.. this is probably my favorite NFL day of the year.

Wow, am I happy about that. Lets hope the stream won't go all laggy like the Combine one did from time to time. Especially with alot of people watching.

I gues I will be seeing the draft then. I'll just hope I won't have to work when the draft is being held.

Could make for some nice discussions and reactions in the Packershome chat aswell, if people are interested.

Spend all day writing my thesis and completing required weekly assignments.

I'll wake up early the next morning and see the results, as the draft is on too late in the evening to watch here. Likewise for Sunday.

Right here.

Saying the f word every time one of "my" picks comes off the board to another team, no matter how unrealistic it was to expect him to fall to us.

Screaming at Ted Thompson to not f this up while we are on the clock. Proclaiming WTF! as soon as the pick is announced, or worse, if they roll in when we were supposed to pick with SOMEONE ELSE's pick, and then I run around the house trying to establish some heretofore unfound communications link in order to establish WTF just happened with OUR pick, and why won't these STUPIDMOTHERF##ERS tell us WHAT or WHO we traded with/for, WTF IS TED DOING??!! etc.

Until on to the next selection, where I repeat the process. You know, the usual.

Easy DF, you have to pace yourself. You don't want to get too worked up today. There is still a lot of draft ahead of us. ::wink:

Completely understandable. I get a small taste of the time lag when watching some of the Olympic events.

same thing i do every year. Watch. Get irritated at people over-reacting when we pick the wrong guy.

I will be a fixture on my couch in front of the tv for the entire weekend. Notes and printouts in front of me, cell phone in one hand, beer in the other.
