All year it has been Aaron and the offense that has carried this team. If defense has only periodically stepped up.

GB doesn't need a top 10 defense to win it all but it would be nice if they played like a 12th-15th defense on a more consistent basis. I would worry less.

They did just enough.

We apparently played the 2nd half without Gary. May have made a difference.

The problem is, if Rodgers is having an off day, where he is just average, our defense can’t be depended on to carry the team.
Just look at how many penalties there were on our defense towards the end of the game, that kept the Lions drive alive. It was ridiculous.
And in the playoffs, there won’t be any lousy teams.
Add that to the special teams gaffs we have been seeing lately, and if it’s not fixed, it may cost big time.

Yeah, when the Packers face one of the better defenses in the NFL, they're probably going to be in trouble.

Saints, Bucs and Bears are the only teams the Packers have faced in the top half of defensive points...

Bears offense completely sucked and Rodgers owned their offense. Saints run a complex defense and were still struggling getting everyone on the same page at the point of the season, which is why I believe the last the week before to the Raiders as well. Bucs beat the Packers.

Though, Packers were 15th in point per game and 11th in defensive yardage (I assume the games don't have this week in them yet).
