Honestly - this kid is doing amazing! Even my hubby (the Vikings fan) likes him & says he should be getting a lot more thrown his way.

I had him as my most improved Packer - seems he is amongst them. I remember how pissed I was when they cut him last year, and oddly as fate would have it - he returned due to injuries. We should count ourselves fortunate that he is playing for the green and gold. The Iowa connection always helps on my end too...

Man they really lucked out that no one swooped in to sign him after being cut or when he was on the PS to start the season last year.

I had him as my most improved Packer - seems he is amongst them. I remember how pissed I was when they cut him last year, and oddly as fate would have it - he returned due to injuries. We should count ourselves fortunate that he is playing for the green and gold. The Iowa connection always helps on my end too...

Also that's when I started asking what's up at the WR position, something odd is going on or I was just completely wrong with my evaluation... then when Rodgers basically had to ask/tell/beg to get Lazard in the Lions he.and he quickly made plays... then I asked what the hell is wrong with Packers at WR evaluations...

I wonder if sometimes teams don't over think this releasing of players on cutdown day. Meaning, what if the Packers felt no one knew anything about 13 so they could cut him, and bring him back later. I think the rules require a player to be on the final 53 before being placed on injured reserve. Maybe they cut Lazard so they could put someone on IR?
