I don't think we will see what Aaron can really do over a full season. We only get tantalizing glimpses of his abilities. He has to operate with the system. Just 16-17 carries a game with a handful of targets. There are 6 RB with more carries. (Clyde Edwards-Helaire KC has a chance to pass him tonight.) Derrick Henry has an insane 82!

It is going to be tough to walk away from him. I have a hard time with giving RBs huge money since they can fall off a cliff so quickly due to injury, but he is so much more when you consider his great hands in the passing game and his pass protection skills. I wonder if we would consider not re-signing Davante and spending that money on Jones? Crazy talk, but Davante is going to get a monster contract as well.

Speaking of crazy talk I often wonder if GB should trade Jones for a boat load of picks and use Williams-Dillion the rest of the year.

At a quick glance Miami can use some help. They have a couple of 1st round picks this next year. If it came to it, the Jets can get out of Levon Bell's contract after 2020 and it will only cost them a $4 million dead cap hit. Texas, Denver, Tampa and Jacksonville could all use a stud RB. They just have to step up and make an embarrassing lucrative deal.
