From Schefter:
Source: Green Bay Packers NT Kenny Clark just signed a 4-year extension for $70 million, a deal that includes a hefty $25M signing bonus and makes him the highest paid NT in league history and the 12th highest paid defensive player in the NFL.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) August 15, 2020

Clark was the first big puzzle piece for Brian Gutekunst and Russ Ball to figure out as they navigate some uncharted territory with upcoming salary cap challenges, but this is obviously a fantastic move.
Clark has missed only four games through his first four NFL seasons, amassing 193 tackles, 16½ sacks and four forced fumbles in 60 regular-season games. His 49 pressures in 2019 were second in the league among defensive tackles.

First question is does that kick it this year? Or is that an additional 4 years on top of this year?

Either way there was no way they were going to let him go if healthy, and honestly $70/4 years = $17.5 per year is much better than I thought they'd sign him for after DTs DeForest Buckner and Chris Jones joined Aaron Donald in the $20 million or more DTs.

That's a lot of cash. Clark comes off like the kinda person who will work harder after being paid to show appreciation for the belief in him.

One less piece of the puzzle in place for years to come.
I’m happy that they got it done.

My biggest complaint is that they didn't upgrade the guy next to him, Javon Hargrave, Suh and McCoy were FAs (though one would probably have to give more their current contracts to get them up to GB), and I have absolutely loved what the Ravens have done and they traded a 5th round pick for Calais Campbell, who has played both 4-3 and 3-4 DE.

As for Clark, my only real long term concern is that he's only elite in pass rushing because he's been able to maximize his potential. If or when he ever starts losing a couple of steps with age or injures, his pass rush could potentially drop off a cliff fast, but he then could still focus on run defense and be excellent there.

But for right now, Clark is still under age 25, and was 14th in DL snap counts (7 of which in front of him, I believe played 4-3 DE) so of the interior DL Clark was 7th in snap counts, and that's with an ankle injury that slowed him down for what a month?
