Is there anything worse than the Green Bay Packers winning the NFC North? For Bears fans, the answer is an obvious no. But that was the reality that …

Sounds like a hopeful Bears writer.

Last year ML and AR couldn't get on the same page, there was all kinds of tension between the 2.
I think that was proven wrong in about 2 weeks.
How can you compare 2020 to any other year?
The closest maybe 2011.
JMHO, but I think The teams who are returning under the same coaches and as many as the same players(starters) as possible are going to have a huge advantage , especially the first 4 or so weeks of the season.
The Packers are one of those teams.

The old saying"if you state something enough times, it will be percieved as the truth" I guess is true.
Still waiting for AR to say he is pissed about Gutey not drafting a wr.

As things have worked out, any rookie on any team is going to be way behind .

Another old saying" sometimes the best moves are the ones that were never made".

Not sure when or if there is going to be a season, when and if it happens, The Packers will be just as or more ready than most.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

This is a strange season. So the fact that most of our guys are veterans should put us a step ahead of those with a bunch of rookies. Buck hit it on the head.

We might not be that bad off.
Now, do I think we’ll win 13 games? I don’t. But making the playoffs is the main goal. Get into “the dance” and then see what happens.

This really shouldn't be a surprise, the Packers had something like the 5th easiest schedules (based on after the season records) and easiest outside of the NFC & AFC Easts.

They got quite lucky with a number of those games and got to face QBs that didn't start the season off as starters and at times struggled to win against the backups.

Plus when the Packers did face veteran QBs, they did struggle and Packers have to face the 3 best QBs from last year AND 4 QBs that are better than those three.

And I believe the Packers stayed quite healthy last year as well.

I can quite easily see the Packers lose two of three more games... four is slightly pushing it. But possible.

In an odd twist, I feel like the Packers could potentially have a better team (other than maybe missing Bulaga, and Tramon, but the other pieces like the TEs and S might be better set up for the system) so might have a better team than last year but a worse record. I think they're setting themselves up for 2021 to be honest, but potential could make another run this year.
