Often lost in the offseason haze, especially following a wallop by the San Fransisco 49ers rushing dominance over the team, was just how good the Green Bay Packers' pass defense was in 2019. The team had been trying to right its last line of defense for years, spending high draft picks to no avail, but [...]

But honestly I think it's much more about the pass rush than the pass coverage, the coverage (especially King) had troubles last year, and I think all of them had some growing pains playing a lot more in zone and just getting the chemistry down,.of what to do when they faced a good trick play call meant to confuse them.

But Clark and the Smith Brothers dominant OLs at times last year, helping the pass coverage a hell of a lot.

While I think Alexander will look pretty good as long as he's healthy, I'm not as sure about the rest of the pass coverage. Though Amos is extremely solid and Savage has raw potential to possible become one of the best in the game at Safety.

I have admittedly unrealistic high hopes for Darnell Savage Jr.

I think he has steadily improved. Year 3 and 4 is normally your biggest leap. I look forward to seeing what he can do.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
