As I have stated before I believe and thought we should have moved on already from Rodgers. The injuries have taken its toll on him, I don't think he has the arm strength anymore and lost his accuracy. He was once deadly on the deep ball but now he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. I am thinking of maybe a Jake Fromm or even a Jalen Hurts in the 3rd round. I really don't see any QB that is jumping off the charts. Maybe the kid from LSU but the Alabama QB has me confused, he's got a bum hip he just had surgery on and had great players around him. I honestly can't even think of a qb from Alabama worth a 1st round pick.

Yes, but it works. Do I hate how he misses (what is obvious to me sitting in my comfy chair) open guys shallow for taking deep shots or getting sacked? Yes.

I am in agreement the Packers need to start thinking about the QB for the future. I just don't think that future is 2020. If Packers can add just one more threat at WR, this team is going to fuck people up. Rodgers made Allen Lazard look serviceable for christ sake. Rodgers has 2 maybe 3 years before the keys need to be handed to someone else. And that's assuming he continues a decline and assumes we have someone that is better than he currently (assuming it's 2022 here) playing with a higher ceiling.

When he does leave, whether by going to a different team or retirement, some of our members are going to be dealt a hand of reality. The chance of getting a third straight great QB is close to nothing.

You will see they want teams to have starters, and I mean All-Pro starters sitting on the bench while Hall of Famers are on the field. It's absolutely unrealistic.

Fans won't be happy with the Packers QB situation unless they have Patrick Mahomes, Carson Wentz and Deshaun Watson all on the same roster. Why? Because QB is the most important position so you need three!!!

They might ignore it, and blame the Packers, but the hand will be layed out for all to see. Denial might be there, but it won’t change the facts.
Think the fans of the Lions, Bears and Vikings don’t blame their team leaders for blowing it year after year? Not getting a decent QB?
We have been very fortunate. Younger people haven’t had to endure what us older fans did. Twenty years of futility. They may have to live through that once AR is gone.

It’s SO hard to find a QB that can play at such a high level in the NFL.
For 28 years we have been able to have a realistic hope of “our” Packers winning more then losing, and making the playoffs more times then not. Through the 1970s and 80s we made the playoffs ONCE.
And didn’t go far.
Just beating the hated Bears once in a season, and we considered it a “good” season.
I remember when we finally made the playoffs when Favre came here. I was thrilled that I got to see my team for one more game.
Now, that’s not enough anymore. Expectations have gone up with the win totals.

Zero2Cool (23-Jul) : Suppose if locker room is main issue, we sitting pretty
wpr (23-Jul) : I thought so Mucky. In those useless player polls GB always rates high overall. Locker is a part of it.
Mucky Tundra (23-Jul) : Wasn't the locker room just updated like 6 or 7 years ago?
