That's good.

Marcedes Lewis is sticking around for at least one more season. ESPN's Field Yates reports (via Twitter) that the veteran tight end is returning to Green Bay. It'll be a one-year deal worth $2.25MM. The 35-year-old spent the first 12 seasons of his career with the Jaguars, earning a Pro Bowl nod and second-team All-Pro [...]

There were lots of great moments this season. Aaron barking "Big Dog" to call the td pass to Lewis has to rate as one of the best. So happy Marcedes is back.

I love this guy. He actually blocks unlike the guy who is in Chicago now. I hope the young tight ends learn from him.

Glad to have him back. Spensier than I wanted but its fine. Used up our current spendable cap. Waiting to see what we do to make more space.

Cutting lane Taylor comes to mind. Restructuring P or Z Smith comes to mind. Extending DBakh to push some more down a year or two comes to mind. Doing the same with Linsley or even cutting could be an option.

Still a couple of our own guys I would like to keep somehow. Moves are necessary to do that at this point.

Happy with the signing, lots of pressure on Sternberger to step up though. I was reading about how there's quite a bit of mid round depth at TE so I wouldn't be surprised with another 3rd-5th round pick invested this draft.

How much trade value do you think Taylor or Linsley have? Do you think the Packers are waiting to cut one incase they can make a move for a player/pick?

I wonder if this means we're out of the TE Delanie Walker running, after it was reported Colts Packers Redskins were the teams interested.

This signing I believe is more of a tool to help the young bucks learn from the elder. I love Lewis and thought he should have been used more than Graham. But if the young guys are willing to learn they will become a complete TE not a 1 dimensional.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)
