The Packers have applied to the NFL for approval of a redesign of their iconic helmet . They submitted three options for the league's consideration. If approved, the new design would likely debut at their first home game of the 2020 regular season.

What do you think? I'm partial to design no. 2 myself, although I think no. 4 is pretty striking too.

2 looks too cheesy! I sorta like the gag idea and would enjoy them doing something like that for Halloween game, but that looks low quality cheesy, you can get better looking cheese helmet than that.

3 reminds me of Baylor, more than Packers.

As an out of stater (where not all casual fans know uniforms, but they do know logos)...

If they're going to make a change, they need to add the logo to the uniform, so everyone knows what uniform is (cus they know the logo).

PS: I'm not saying the players need them on gamedays, but it'd be nice to have as a fan uniform option. At least for fans that want to wear the logo, which would be helpful for non-Midwesterns to wear, so others knew what uniform it was to the non-NFL experts.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a digital camo look, an allusion to the digital fatigues adopted by the U.S. armed services. I agree that the patchy way it's implemented is a little odd, though.
