Green Bay won a game it had to have against a struggling team, but it wasn't the kind of victory that should inspire confidence in the locker room.

Seriously?
Are there bonus points for winning the game by halftime? I guess I missed that when I was learning about the game of football. Maybe it's one of the newer rules that have made the game less interesting.

I suppose the weather doesn't count either.

So it's better to do the classic Packers "Go up 14-21 points by halftime and fall asleep in the third and most of the fourth quarter and eek out a win in the final minute when the offense finally wakes up" thing? Okay.

Definitely didn't like getting throttled by SF but these last two games have been great for my stress levels versus most games.

In fairness to ESPN, not even Giants fans were taking this game seriously. Early in the first quarter, I received a rather sardonic text from a classmate of mine who's a Giants fan:

You realize that this game
doesnt really count.....
its like a minor league
exhibition game
Then again, he always seems to have a much higher opinion of the Packers than I do. 🤣

Though I can't help but get the feeling that they just don't have the horses to shock the world, as they're already over achieving their talents.

Unless we suddenly get some more help from the weapons on offense, other than Adams and the RBs.

And someone who can cover the middle, while also defending the run, and get the DBs to play consistently at a high level. Would take consistently winning the turnover and yardage battle.

There is only like 4 or 5 guys even contributing on offense.

If we don’t win the division, we might not even make the playoffs. There are other teams that are playing well enough to be a wildcard team.
Winning the division means at least one home game in the playoffs.
So I personally want Seattle to beat the Vikings.
And I just heard Thelen won’t be playing tonight, hamstring.

Zero2Cool (20h) : It'd be a wise move.
beast (17-Jan) : I think Jets are just killing time, and picking up information as they wait for their guy to get done with the playoffs.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Brewers icon & Baseball Hall of Famer Bob Uecker passed away today at the age of 90
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Jets wanna interview Jeff Hafley for their HC spot. W. T. F.

beast (15-Jan) : Apparently because players aren't doing the small things when the coaches tell them, and LaFleur believes they're more likely
Zero2Cool (15-Jan) : Jordan isn't a vocal guy. Why not let him lead his way?
Zero2Cool (15-Jan) : I'm not sure it ever bodes well when you have to tell your team leader to be more vocal.

Martha Careful (14-Jan) : Why is it that the Rams rookies can contribute right away but our first and second year guys are too young to contribute in a meaningful way
Martha Careful (14-Jan) : Yes, Saquon Barkley had a very nice game. But he has a much better offensive line in front of him. I'll take Josh Jacob's. I love the guy
