The thing about Andre Smith is I think he's going to end up being a guard in the NFL. I think he could be a pretty good guard, but he's not a guard in the zone blocking scheme. I'm sure if GB takes him there it'll be to play tackle, but he has weight issues and that could force him inside eventually. That's why I'm not sold on Smith to GB. I think GB is moving down if Orakpo is gone and they're hesitant about Raji.

Ideally speaking, I think you could be right, but I could easily see them "reaching" for a guy from a smaller program who has a productive college career and who they think could produce at the next level, i.e. a Larry English.

These weight issues you referred to with Smith. Did he have them throughout his college career or is it a concern ever since his shirtless pro day etc? Nobody can really argue with his performance in college at tackle.

He lacks a worth ethic and that leads some like myself to believe that his weight will rise due to being out of shape. He'll end up like a Leonard Davis. I think that's who he is. He'll play tackle and be a bust and move inside to guard and make the Pro Bowl. I really feel that.
