I think they're doing pretty well for all being late round picks or udfa. Do you expect them all to be all stars or something?

The only player that really intrigues me and would like Gutey to go after would be OJ Howard.

1. Averaged 498.5 yards, 16.6 YPC and 5.5 TDs over his first two years
2. With both Graham and Lewis most likely to be gone next year, Howard would help in the present in the future
3. Still on his rookie contract and would be next year (I'm not sure if GB can pick up his 5th year option if he were to be traded), so GB could pursue someone in FA this upcoming off-season

Since he was picked in the 1st Round the Bucs would probably want either a 1st or 2nd in return for him. Personally I think Gutey is going to go offense heavy in the first 4 rounds this year (WR, OL and TE in some order with 3 of the first 4 picks) so I wouldn't be against trading a 2nd rounder for him.

According to LombardiAve  we should target these four.

1. Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders
2. Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard
3. Falcons tight end Austin Hooper
4. Dolphins linebacker Raekwon McMillan

Do you agree?

Howard is a complete TE... being misused as a primary blocker only... but I believe Arians (at least if he gets his way) when he says that they won't be trading Howard... cus he wants a run first team in a pass happy league and Howard is a complete TE to do either.

Hooper is a receiving TE, which I've heard his blocking had improved but I haven't watched him lately. More like a younger Jimmy Graham.

I honestly don't get the LB McMillan logic... yes I agree he'd be an upgrade over Goodson, but I feel like that's a low bar... and we already got a great against the run LB that's not great in coverage LB in Martinez. If I'm gonna trade much for someone, then I'm gonna get a LB that's great in coverage! Or better yet, maybe a Safety... as Safeties can be used in that role, or Amos can play semi LB of they have enough healthy talented Safeties back there.

Since 1990, the Packers have only selected 4 non-OL, offensive players in the first round...
1990 RB Darrell Thompson
2000 TE Bubba Frank's (Wolf)
2002 WR Javon Walker (Sherman)
2005 QB Aaron Rodgers (Thompson)
Also does that mean only one per GM for the last couple of GMs.

So I'm expecting the team to go defense or OT in the first round... unless Gute loves a guy so much to use his one per GM (made up) rule pass 👅

But they also might think they already grabbed a TE this last year.

beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
