Hey fellas, first time starting a thread. My boy (9 yo) and I are traveling to GB for his first Packers game (hosting OAK on 10-20) and my first since 2003! I just wanted to share my plan and see if any of you knowledgable folks have any suggestions for addition/deletion/change in the itinerary.

1. Saturday: Fly into GB Saturday afternoon. Go to Lambeau for the alumni tour of the field (led by Santana Dotson!). Then dinner at Hinterland Brewery.
2. Sunday: Show up early to the game and look for some kid-appropriate tailgating…? Packers stomp Raiders 30-10. Hang around the atrium and Packers Pro Shop and blow some money. Dinner at Tavern in the Sky
3. Monday: Titletown in the morning. Lunch somewhere…? Packers Hall of Fame tour. Dinner at 1919.
4. Tuesday: fly out

That’s all of I’ve got right now. What am I missing? Any comments on the restaurant plans? What about tailgating with a kiddo?—I could use some advice on making that a good time for him. Am I insane thinking we’ll hang around the atrium and go to the Pro Shop after the game? Or is that gonna be OK?

The HOF tour, Titletown, and atrium/pro shop could be mixed up in whatever order. As far as I’m concerned all 3 of those could be mixed and matched, but any advice on when to do those 3 things? Do I have them in the right time periods or swap them around?

Finally, I thought there was maybe going to be a pep rally for the OAK game but can’t find any info on that. Any knowledge here?

I really appreciate any insight you can give. It’s a father-son thing so the pressure’s on to make it perfect. Thanks!

It has been a few years since I have been there myself... but Kroll's is always a quality place to stop.

There is something special about taking kids to sporting events that have the electricity to it... good luck and hoping you both enjoy your time in GB.

I prefer Kroll's East. 🙂 But, that's clear across town.

Awesome 👏
I took my oldest son to his first game when he was about the same age.
He was so excited.
When we walked out into the stadium his first word was “awesome “.
The only time I saw a Raiders game in Green Bay I took my youngest son and a couple of his buddies.
We went to Kroll’s West and that’s where a lot of Raiders fans had congregated in all their costumed glory.
The kids really got a kick out of their antics.

Congrats Kanco! I’m sure you will have a great time!
Are you staying at a hotel close to Lambeau Field?
The guys here (especially Zero) are pros at what to do when you are there.
Reading your post, it seems you already have some pretty good plans.

Thanks, guys! Krolls sounds great. The boy was interested in cheese curds and I understand that's a good option. Here's something of interest: My wife and daughter are going to Hawaii that weekend, but my boy chose a Packers game over the sun and sand--he wanted football with his old man instead. Man, that brought a tear to my eye--so proud of his wisdom.

And yes, we're staying near the stadium. Holiday Inn GB Stadium. Trying to make it convenient.

Any opinions on shuffling around HOF/Atrium/Titletown, or on tailgating with a youngster at Lambeau?

Be SURE to take plenty of pictures!
If using your cell phone for pictures, be sure to pack your charging cable!
It’s a little thing that’s easy to forget.

Last time I was there...5.5 years ago the proshop was not outrageously busy before the game. Just felt like your typical crowdedness of any other store at any other time. I do believe they have moved/renovated the proshop since then (I could be wrong) so things might have changed now. Tailgating with the kiddo should be fine if you find the crowd that isn't overly drunk. Tailgaters in GB are incredibly generous and every group you walk by will probably offer you and your son something. If you tell them the story of him choosing GB over Hawaii every group will just love him anyway.
BAD EMAIL because the address couldn ot be found, or is unable to receive mail.

It was started a few years ago and some things are out of date but perhaps you can get a few ideas.

Your plan sounds pretty good to me. I go to a game or two every year. I typically get in and get out without looking around too much. The Hall of Fame is new and improved. (So is the price or at least that is what I have been told.) Get your pictures taken in front of the Lombardi Trophies. Plenty of people will take it for you. They had a mock Lambeau Leap for the kids to see what that is like in the old Hall. I don't know if they kept it or not but if so make sure your son gives it a try. The wall was 6' tall if I recall.

Tailgaters will accommodate you. Krolls had a beads booth. A string of green or gold beads for a buck. Other trinkets like cheeseheads. I got one for my son when he was around that age. There are more of those kind of booths south of the stadium down Armed Forces Dr.

The south ramp to the upper deck has a few spots when you can stop and take a few pictures. You can get the practice field and indoor facility in a picture. Lombardi and Lambeau statues are located on the east side near Lombardi Ave. If you get there real early you can stand along the fence where the players park. He may get to talk to some of the guys before or after the game. Most of them won't pay too much attention to you but kids and good looking girls get noticed.

Mainly have a great time. Take your tickets and a few pictures and put them in a shadow box.

Zero2Cool (30-Jun) : Dolphins get (back) Minkah Fitzpatrick in trade
Zero2Cool (30-Jun) : Steelers land Jalen Ramsey via Trade
dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jun) : One person on Twitter=cannon law

Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : According to Tweeter
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : Packers are working on extension for LT Walker they hope to have done before camp
