I'm approaching this one from a little different angle. I feel no ill-will towards C.C. , but as a (reformed) lifelong Orioles fan, that was about as good as an opening day can get.

If you ever get out this way, Camden Yards is a pretty good approximation of the modernized Lambeau in a baseball venue. Unfortunately, they haven't had a baseball team to occupy it in years.

I didn't start watching (on tv) until after C.C. got run out, but I sure as hell enjoyed the rest of that game... I HATE the Yankees even more than I hate the Red Sox. (THAT has never gone away)

I think I need a ruling:

If I start cheering on the birds, am I a front-runnin' fair weather fan?

I didn't think so, either, excepting the fact that I'm going to stop worrying about it after they lose one in a row. Yes, I am that bitter.

Happy the Yanks flopped, albeit much like Foster I have no ill will towards CC. He manned up and pitched his guts out for the Brewers last season, with no long term deal signed, it was a personal risk for the big man to pitch repeatedly on short rest.

I am torn between my appreciation of the CC talents and heart and my udder hatred toward the Yankees in general.

I feel like the other 2..He played his guts outs while here..I am angry he left and took the most money, but it was expected..

I am more happy the Yanks lost than C.C tanking

I really like CC. I'm not glad HE got rocked, but I am happy the Yankees pitcher got rocked and they lost.

Not sure if that makes sense. I just dislike the Yankee's and their buy first Cowboys attitude.

CC came to the Brewers from an American League team. Not many, if any National Leaguers had faced him. He was a different type pitcher than most were used to and caught most hitters by surprise. I think if he were still in Milw. or any National League team, he wouldn't do quite as well.
I hope he does ok and the rest of the Yankees tank it up.

Naw, CC didn't thumb his nose at the Brewers. But it's good to see the Yankees flop period.

I don't know this word for word, but CC said he would sign with the Brewers for less than he signed with the Yankees, but his contract would not allow the Brewers to acquire any more talent. Where as the Yankees could pay him more and still buy more talent.

beast (7-Nov) : Edge Rushers is the same... it's not the 4-3 vs 3-4 change, it's the Hafley's version of the 4-3... as all 32 teams are actually 4-2
