And I'll go ahead and say - and this is coming from someone who is a fan of the kid - anyone putting Rodgers in the hall after one season is wearing the rosiest glasses of them all. Which is cool, don't get me wrong - but there's no way in hell to say where he'll be in 10-12 years at this point.

Amen.. and with the latest news on Rodger chasing tail around in Vegas.. we might see a let down. ;)

All joking aside.. he has a hell of a lot to accomplish before the Hall and his name have any business in the same sentence.

Kampman is an excellent player.. but he isn't even close to sniffing around the Hall doors yet..

I think if Driver plays two more years (which is unlikely) and records atleast 1,000 yards in both seasons, he is deserving.

That would put him over 10,000 yards

If Woodson plays like this for another year or two, I think he will make it for sure.. but I already think he should.. Remember he is the only defensiveback to win the heisman trophy.. that's a huge accomplisment

Agreed with Woody.

Unfortunately, disagree with Driver. For the record, Driver is my favorite current Packer. Actually, with BF retired, he's my favorite NFL player now. But he simply doesn't have the stats. He's 144th in TDs (which is his Achille's Heel as far as the Hall is concerned). He's currently 63rd in Receptions, and even in 2 years, may retire with less than Andre Rison, who won't make the Hall.

The sad thing is, Driver will be competing against his peers and he's got some damn good peers - Randy Moss, TO, Isaac Bruce, Tory Holt, Laveranues Coles, Steve Smith, Darrell Jackson. All these guys have better stats. Even 25-year-old Larry Fitzgerald is neck and neck statistically with Driver. Of all these guys I just listed, most won't make the Hall. Moss and TO will. Fitzgerald will if he stays healthy. Smith might. Bruce and Holt might. Coles and Jackson won't.

How Driver can make the Hall - he needs 3 seasons of 10+ TDs. Can happen, if MM will take AR's gloves off and have AR throw in the opponent's red zone. Keep in mind, Donald Driver is The Man at the 4 yard reception, and Rodgers is The Man in the red zone.

Driver is a workhorse and there is a possibility he can play 3 more seasons. He keeps himself in top notch shape. He works out harder than most of his peers, and that's really saying something.

I hope he makes it. He's just a long shot.

EDIT: Doing some research, other WRs of his "generation" he'd have to compete with - Marvin Harrison (how can I forget him? He'll more than likely make the Hall), Muhsin Muhammad (will be nominated but won't make it), Joey Galloway (will be nominated but won't make it), Derrick Mason (will be nominated but won't make it), Hines Ward (decent shot; has a HUGE advantage as he was a SB MVP), Amani Toomer (long shot, most likely no though), Chad Johnson (better shot than anyone else I listed here but Harrison), Reggie Wayne (neck and neck with Chad Johnson, but has an advantage because he had a 53-yard TD in a SB win).

All these WRs unfortunately have better stats than Driver.

Also note that I'm not being a d*** here, I'm just being realistic. Driver is my favorite player in the NFL. I want him to make the Hall as much as anyone (besides his mother). But he's a long shot. He'll need TDs and a SB win.

I would love to see Driver make it but as mentioned there is a ton of competition. He would have to have at least 3-4 more outstandign years. I thinking 85-100 receptions, 1200-1500 yards, 12+ TDs a year. It would be great if he could do it.

As for Rodgers the only reason I say he has a chance is he showed he has some talent. He has time on his side but he has to prove he belongs.

Al Harris can make the Packers Hall of Fame, but no way will he ever be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, unless Chad Johnson was in charge of it.

If he keeps playing the way he's playing and maybe contributes a few Super Bowl things, I think Greg Jennings has a valid shot. We'll revisit this in ten years.

I think Woodson will get in, but may need a Super Bowl ring. It seems the defensive players have a tougher time getting in.

I like the possibility of Jennings. I hope Jennings and Rodgers will have a Manning/Harrison type of career together.

The thing with Al Harris is he doesn't have the flashy numbers.

Let's compare 2 shutdown CBs. In his prime, Harris did a remarkable job of shutting down the WR he covered. So did soon to be HoF'er Deion Sanders. But Sanders has numbers, Al Harris doesn't.

Sanders:
9 Pro Bowls
2 SB Rings (which is HUGE when it comes to HoF balloting)
8 times All-Pro
1994 Defensive Player of the Year
53 INTs
9 TDs from INTs
1 TD from a fumble recovery

On top of that, he also has:
6 Punt Return TDs
3 KO TDs
3 TDs as a WR

Harris:
2 Pro Bowls
1 All Pro
0 SB Rings (we need to win some SBs)
19 INTs
3 TDs
3 Sacks
2 FF

No fumble recoveries though.

Is Harris awesome? Yes. People forget things like in 2005, he only allowed one TD to a guy he was covering. Yes, that is not a misprint. One TD. That's pretty ***** incredible. In 2006, he only allowed 1 1/2 TDs. But it will be lost in the HoF balloting unfortunately because he wasn't as flashy as Neon Deion and doesn't have the Rings.

Is Al Harris a shutdown CB? Yes, he is. If 2005 and 2006 aren't proof of it, I don't know what is.

I'd love to see Harris in the Hall, but I fear he'll be overlooked.

Woodson should defintely be in the Hall in a few years.

Jennings should most defintely make the Hall if he keeps it up. I'd also pick Rodgers and Driver to make the Hall at their respective time.

I know he isn't a current Packer but do you guys think Henderson has a chance at the HOF? He was defintely one of our greats. I'm not saying retire his number 33 but to me it would be strange seeing someone other than Henderson wearing that number, imo.
