Anyone see Bulaga messing with him last night on the sidelines? Bulaga walks up to him and you can see him ask Aaron, "How's your back?" then he starts rubbing it for him.... they laughed. Pretty funny shit.

I'm really glad they held him out. Not necessary for him to play in these preseason games. He'll probably get a couple of series in before start of regular season, but I want him healthy for Game 1, and all the others.

True, fake games don’t count. But I can’t help but wonder, if Rodgers doesn’t play at all in the preseason, will he be ready for the real games?
Will his timing and accuracy be hurt by not getting anything except for practice?

Aaron STILL out. "PROBABLY WILL NOT PLAY" at Winnipeg. I guess they have shitty turf. Aaron might not play for entire preseason!?

I mean I have to say it, is this Aaron just trying to get his way? Get out there dude.

It's a long season. Coming out and aggravating a back injury or suffering a new injury up in Canada sure would seem dumb if they rushed him out there. The risk far outweighs the reward. I would like to see him play but I would much rather he is as close to 100% as he can be for the Bears.

But I mean, maybe Mr Rodgers is upset about having to change his helmet and is pulling a power play. Maybe the new coach took him out for dinner and didn't foot the bill. Maybe Gute gave him the wrong look in the hallway. Any of these conspiracy theories could be the REAL reason he isn't playing - but Occam's razor generally wins out.
