Can we just take both of them, wrap them up in a Fed Ex box and ship them off to the CFL or Siberia.. throw in Billicheat as well.. the NFL would be a better place without them.

And to the question at hand.. I want neither of them on the Packers.

And if I was a GM in the NFL.. want neither at any cost, period.

I like the canucks too much to ship them there....Siberia now? that's different.

I can't see any owner that, in his right mind, would want to deal with the backlash of signing Vick. Can't we sign him up with the marines and let him be a lead scout for hummer patrols or send him first into caves looking for Al Queda? Let's see how fast he is then...

I don't hold much better of an opinion of TO.. guy is a chemistry killer on any team he has been a part of.. he is just about as toxic a figure that you can put into your locker room.

At least Moss or even CJ has the ability to blend in with his teammates for periods of time.. ever since TO caught that catch against the Packers in the 98 playoffs.. he has had a chip on his shoulder that I wish someone would biatch slap off its perch.

As of right now he is still making 12 cents an hour. At his bankruptcy hearing, it was noted how he has been spending an average of $13,700.00 per day for at least the past 270 days for professional services.

He is currently a janitor, but he is going to work construction when he gets out, making a projected 10 bucks an hour.

In a perfect world, T.O. would hire him as his financial planner instead.

I got news for you, as a running back, Vick would be average at best. He was a great runner AS A QB. after the plays broke down, when all the DB's are already backpeddling chasing recievers on passing plays.

I can't see any team taking him, expecially after the Raiders picked up Garcia yesterday. I think that was Vicks only shot.

Since this thread started off just Owens vs Vick, I'm going to keep my personal opinion on Vick's personal issue aside and just focus only on this skills as a pro football player.

Vick was a timing runner. He'd wait for the LB to step for the TE, for the S to move towards a WR, then dart. That's one reason he was so effective. It's another reason why QBs get so many more YPC than RBs. As soon as the ball is handed off, the LBs leave any semblance of coverage and go after the RBs and the Safety does likewise. Much different when the QB drops into the pocket.

Vick does not have the fortitude to play 16 games as a RB. He will break. I would not want him as our RB. We already got players who spend more time on the bench than on the field. We won't need another one.

An NFL RB is one of the most rigorous jobs in the world. They more often than not are partially (or fully) crippled within 10 years of retirement. Crippled. I do not say that word lightly. I mean, having a Handicapable sticker in their vehicle. Vick's body, although 217 pounds, is not as durable as Dunn's 185 pound body. History has shown that over and over. Don't make me whip out the stat book.

Plus, when Vick runs, when he knows he's going to get hit, he goes down. When a RB runs and knows he's going to get hit, he takes the hit and fights for that extra yard. Even with Vick sliding and diving, he's still getting hurt every season.

I don't care if Michael Vick is Mother Teresa. I don't want him on our team as a RB. He'd be good for the first four games though. I'll give him that.

I think it would be scary to have Vick in Minn. Can you image trying to figure out who to stop AP or Vick running the ball, so you send everyone and then Vick unleashes his cannon deep. Plus you figure he would get to play on the fast turf at least 8 games a year. Ok look at who they have qb its not hard to improve on it lol.

Exactly my point.

Even with the PR hit Minny would take.. I'm all for Vick in purple.

His passing abilities are on par with T-Jack at worst. Plus add in his amazing talent at maneuvering after the play breaks down.. Now we are talking.
