Dex Williams: Real Deal?

Looks like my man DeX has some burst. Good vision, fits with this "one cut" ZBS system.

Gets it done in pass pro too. Has been extremely consistent in practice, almost missed one blitz pickup in the game, but he got a good piece of the guy.

Looked good on those screens too. Nice to see that in our system again. I think this dude was a steal in the 6th.

Yeah this guy looks promising. Even more so since Jones and the other Williams generally miss at least a few games per season. Maybe between the 3 of them they'll have 32 games worth of running backs.

I like the looks of this kid and I think he's going to help the Green Bay Packers.
It seems that I heard that he fell in the draft because of "issues".
Anybody recall anything of that nature?

Gotta catch the ball first, dropped two passes in practice yesterday. Won't see the field much if can't be counted on.

Got busted with some teammates for possession of marijuana and having a unregistered handgun. One of the teammates later confessed that the handgun was his. Williams also missed a months worth of games due to being suspended for an undisclosed reason. The off the field stuff and only one year as a starter is why he lasted until the 6th round.

I think Dexter Williams is the real deal, and once our run blocking becomes more fluid, look out. This guy impresses the hell out of me with his ability to float down the line, cut and go. He's very decisive there, and then has deceptive acceleration. I bet we will be seeing big plays from Dex all year.

Saw some video somewhere of Ty Summers completely blowing him up in pass pro. He will need to work on that. Poor kid got decleated.
