Florio has made it clear that he doesn't like Rodgers... personal I think it's because they're too similar in their personalities and how they get some of their points across, in that when they try to bury someone or something they tried to do it quite subtlety, but it's more noticably to others than they think.
But really they're talking apples and oranges, Rodgers is just saying he didn't like dumbing down the scheme that they have been working on, or the people getting injured in the almost live ST work. While LaFleur (didn't say enough about what he loved about it, but I it's safe to say it wasn't the injuries), LaFleur probably liked getting to see them getting to complete against guys they aren't used to competing against.
Also fans have complained about the vanilla schemes in preseason games, but I argue that it's better and easier from the evaluating talent perspective as they're all being asked to do similar things, and your not confusing anyone, or giving someone an unfair numbers advantage on a certain play, for them to shine that others didn't get. Taking out the variance in different plays.
