Writing on Favre's official Instagram account, the Hall of Fame quarterback and definetley not a hacker wrote:
A true champion sticks to his or her calling. I will be coming out of retirement and making my return to play in the NFL for the 2020 season. Stay tuned for more #news!

No word yet on if Brian Gutekunst has reached out to Favre about possibly backing up Aaron Rodgers.

I asked Favre about him coming back. I met him at “The Waffle House” to interview him. This is what he had to say:
Cheesey: so Brett, is it true you might come back to the Packers?
BF: well Cheesey, it’s true! I’m going to sign a one day contract, then retire the next day. Then sign another one day contract, then retire, then sign, then retire.......you know, I have to remain consistent!

I'm thinking he was either drunk or hacked. However, I wouldn't be surprised that he could beat out a few starters and a bunch of back-ups even at his age (hitting 50 this year).
