I'm not saying it will happen, but I think of any Packer player on the current roster, Charles Woodson has the best shot of making the Hall.

I think Driver will play 3 more years but fall short, being someone that gets nominated but that's it. Kampy may get a nomination as well.

But of everyone on the team, Woodson has the best shot. Why? 36 INTs, 9.5 sacks, 7 INTs returned for TDs. 5 time Pro Bowler who most recently went last year. 4 time All-Pro (last year was his last recognition).

He's also a damn good tackler, which isn't common for a CB. He has 643 tackles so far.

The weirdest thing is that going to the Packers has completely resurrected his career. Since coming here, he's been averaging 63 tackles, he got 8 INTs in '06, 4 in '07, and 7 in '08 including 2 returned for TDs. He had both an INT and a fumble returned for TDs in '07.

He's 33 now, but the way he's been playing, he may be able to keep up at this level for another 3 years (including '09). If so, he's not that long of a shot to make it. We could really use a SB win though. That would help out big time, especially if he gets an INT in the SB. He did have an INT in the SB loss (to Tampa Bay when he was with the Raiders).

Thoughts?

Woodson is the only one I see with a chance right now. Rodgers would be the next closest but he will have to improve, show constantancy, get over the hump and complete comebacks, and challenge for/win a SB.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Oh geez.....here we go, dhazer/dhpacker will have something to say about this lmao...

Anyway, as of right now, the only one I see going to the HOF is Charles Woodson. The next option IMO would be Donald Driver (man, that would be GREAT!)

Woodson is probably a good bet if he continues to play like he has.

I agree... Woodson, and Rodgers. Rodgers has "Hall" written all over him.

However.........

There are more than players that get elected to the Hall.

So one would have to throw Ted Thompson and Coach Mike in the mix.

I think if Driver plays two more years (which is unlikely) and records atleast 1,000 yards in both seasons, he is deserving.

That would put him over 10,000 yards

If Woodson plays like this for another year or two, I think he will make it for sure.. but I already think he should.. Remember he is the only defensiveback to win the heisman trophy.. that's a huge accomplisment

hahahahaha I refuse to remark on other posters remarks as it is their opinions. I really don't see anyone on the team that is hall of fame quality. But the one that would be the closest would be Woodson i guess.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I'm going to go with Woodson aswell. He'll have to play some more years I think, but if he does, he'll go in pretty fast.

As for DD, I recall having this talked about this before. I think he's most equal to Isaac Bruce, if you look at their careers (For unbiased purposes). Looking at Bruce from the outside in, I don't think he's HoF worthy. Maybe Driver can get in if he'll play till he's 40 and keeps putting up some solid years. Slim chance of that happening though, especially with his playing style.

Woodson has an outside shot. Too early to consider anyone else.

To add further to the Woodson and Hall of Fame potential. I've seen Pro Football Weekly call him a Future Hall of Fame Corner before so it's not just the blind faith of the Green and Gold saying this either.
