Many NFL franchises can look with great pride upon their past glories. Green Bay too can take pride in their 13 NFL Championships. However, smothering the current roster with the teams past seems counterproductive. Players/Coaches want to create their place of glory moving forward.
I believe Coach LaFleur appears to have correctly read into a part of what was becoming a negative for the team. Placing the honored past in the Packer Hall of Fame, and not carrying it into the meeting rooms and the practice field. Opening up the curtains and throwing open the windows to air out the stale air is a very good thing. The atmosphere will, IMO, be one of an optimistic fresh start. In fact I hope that painting and redecorating has taken place to signal to all the start of a new era for the Packers.
Perfecting the execution of HC LaFleur's new offensive system will take great dedication, concentration, and self discipline. Too many will expect "instant" results from the 2019 Packers. I believe that it will be week 3 or 4 of the regular season before the execution of the new sys. begins to shine. Not that GB will win/loose, but that the timing and unspoken commands will not start to shine forth with the Packer Offense.
The 2019 GB Packers might start fast or slow. Time and hard work will be determining factors.
