That same article also implied it was a rumor.

Former Packers coach Mike McCarthy denied he skipped team meetings for a massage. During a phone interview with Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, McCarthy responded to a Bleacher Report story written by former Packers beat writer Tyler Dunne. "I wouldn't even know where to start and stop with the article,' McCarthy told Pelissero. "But to [more]

I hope there's not some bitter, vengeful psychopath on the team spreading bad rumors about Mike to undermine his relationship with the players

Well....they aren’t “his players” anymore. So it really doesn’t matter.
The sad thing is that anyone would even bring something like that up.
But that the way things are today.
No one in the public eye really has any privacy.
That’s why they get paid the big bucks.

There is NOTHING funny about this.

There is video of Robert Craft visiting a strip mall in Florida, going to a so called massage parlor where he paid for sex.
The girls working there, many underage, were victims of human trafficking and are being held as slaves, forced to be prostitutes.

Now who here finds that funny.

There is one guy who can put a stop to all this bullshit going on in Green Bay.

I bet we won't here a word from him.

Thanks Mark, youre doing a bang up job!

So someone who was not present to enable him to offer eyewitness testimony has spread a rumor about someone who has not been charged with any crime. Well as this is America and people are guilty util they can prove their innocence, I must assume that the person is in jail without hope of bail.

Just the suggestion of wrongdoing without any proof is enough to get a reporter's story started. Add to that a public that can't wait to see the next famous person go down in flames on the evening news, and you get a recipe for a scandal. Who wins? The reporter who gets credit for "breaking" a story.

Repeating such a story only serves to degrade the public trust in the press and damage a person that has become an unwilling victim.

That’s the problem. Today it’s no longer “the press”. It’s more one big Jerry Springer show. No one needs to prove anything. Just put it out there, and the bigger the story is, the better.
That’s one of the problems with the internet. No one waits for facts before they post, or they might miss the “scoop”.
If they have to interview 50 to find 3 that say what they want to hear, they will do that.
Fake news.

The accusation is that Mike slacked off on team preparation, not that he got a handy.
