Traded 12 for 15 and rnd 2 - 14.
Traded 15 for 24 and rnd 2 - 3.
The 3 guys who always seem to be there at bottom of 1st and top of 2nd are Thompson, D.Bush, and Fant .
Adderly has always been available at 44
P. Campbell has been moving up, if he isn't available rnd 3 pick 11, Deebo is always available rnd 4 pick 12.
Thompson is top rated safety, Bush is rated as 1st day pick and Fant is top 3 TE

This is what I have found by running many drafts.

Round 1 Pick 24 (OAK): Thompson, Deionte, FS, Alabama
Round 1 Pick 30: Bush, Devin, OLB, Michigan
Round 2 Pick 3 (OAK): Fant, Noah, TE, Iowa
Round 2 Pick 12: Adderly, Nassir CB/FS
Round 2 Pick 14 (WASH): Edwards, David,OT,Wisconsin
Round 3 Pick 11: Bryant, Austin, DE, Clemson
Round 4 Pick 12: Samuel, Deebo, WR, South Carolina

I am not sure if any of the QBs are worth the 12 pick, but I do like Kyler Murray. Too bad he is so small. I just worry he will not last in this league. Would be exciting to draft him though as he sure is a fun QB to watch.

As for trading down with the picks, I'm not in favor of it this season. 😎

Smokey,

I always enjoy your take on things, but I am more inclined to agree with Buckeye, Nerd, and TKT on this one. My justification:

This is a great year to trade down. IMO, alot of value in rounds 2-4, esp 2.
I prefer a quarterback who has the ability to win without using his legs. And IMO Murray doesn't. Daniel Jones does. I they could trade back and get an extra high 2, and he were there. I would take him.
Once again if Bosa or J. Allen would happen to fall to 5 or below, I have no problem with a trade up to get either.

I'd be ok moving back from 12 to 15ish if we net another 2nd out of the deal. We'd probably still get our guy and then having 4 picks in the first 2 rounds would be nuts. We could really stack the deck in the first 3 rounds.

I don't want to see GB trade any of their picks in the first 4 draft rounds. I want GB to use those picks to grab high quality position players that will contribute for years to come.

Getting their hands on a great new TE or WR or OT would be super. Trading for players that are just average is not an improvement to the TEAM .

That’s true Smokey. Just getting a lot of guys instead of shooting for possible stars doesn’t seem smart at this point.
They have to try for quality over quantity, as we don’t have much time to develop players. Our future HOF QB is running out of time to win another super bowl. They need to shoot for NOW over years from now.

Don’t you think it kind of stinks that you have to disclose who you are interviewing? What is the purpose for this disclosure?

In fact, I'd be astonished if such considerations don't play into the calculus: While I have no doubt Gutekunst intends to skew heavily to the offensive side of the ball in this year's draft, his crop of interviewees strikes me as suspiciously homogeneous. Showing your hand went out of style with the Andrew Luck pick—if indeed it was ever in vogue at all—and teams have played their cards much closer to the vest ever since. It's all an elaborate game of outlandishly high-stakes poker in the end.

Interviewing and spotlighting players as prospects is indeed a part of the "Shell Game" that GM's play. Placing players in the public eye can falsely elevate a players value and possibly influence a rival to possibly pick them. Also, even if GB does not chose them, the Packers some insight into interviewed players. I would think that every team has a file on every player or potential NFL player. Knowledge after all is the foundation winners use to get/stay on top.

Mucky Tundra (8m) : beast, I would guess ad revenue from more eyes watching tv
Zero2Cool (28m) : I would think it would hurt the home team because people would have to cancel last minute maybe? i dunno
beast (37m) : I agree that it's BS for fans planning on going to the game. But how does it bring in more money? I'm guessing indirectly?
packerfanoutwest (48m) : bs on flexing the game....they do it for the $$league$$, not the hometown fans
Zero2Cool (1h) : I see what you did there Mucky
Zero2Cool (1h) : dammit. 3:25pm
Zero2Cool (1h) : Packers Vikings flexed to 3:35pm
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Upon receiving the news about Luke Musgrave, I immediately fell to the ground
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Yeah baby!
Zero2Cool (2h) : LUKE MUSGRAVE PLAYING TONIGHT~!~~~~WOWHOAAOHAOAA yah
Zero2Cool (3h) : I wanna kill new QB's ... blitz the crap out of them.
beast (3h) : Barry seemed to get too conservative against new QBs, Hafley doesn't have that issue
Zero2Cool (4h) : However, we seem to struggle vs new QB's
Zero2Cool (4h) : Should be moot point, cuz Packers should win tonight.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : ok I stand corrected
Zero2Cool (4h) : Ok, yes, you are right. I see that now how they get 7th
Zero2Cool (4h) : 5th - Packers win out, Vikings lose out. Maybe?
beast (4h) : Saying no to the 6th lock.
beast (4h) : No, with the Commanders beating the Eagles, Packers could have a good chance of 6th or 7th unless the win out
Zero2Cool (4h) : I think if Packers win, they are locked 6th with chance for 5th.
beast (4h) : But it doesn't matter, as the Packers win surely win one of their remaining games
beast (4h) : This is not complex, just someone doesn't want to believe reality
beast (4h) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (4h) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (4h) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (4h) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (4h) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (4h) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (5h) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (5h) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (5h) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (5h) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (5h) : Packers will get in
beast (5h) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (5h) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (5h) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (7h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (8h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (8h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (8h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (9h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (18h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (18h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
