It seems to me that most on here are gulping the Hater-aid while grasping at straws in an attempt to dismiss this trade as if it's not a huge upgrade to the Bears roster. This kid is the real deal and deep down as much as some here don't wan't to admit it due to hatred of the Bears, Cutler to the Bears is a scary thing for rival teams when adding him to a young offense looking to improve. They are as of right now easily a better offense than last season and they won 9 games last season and were ascore away from making the playoffs. The guy is a top 10 QB in this league, like it or not. Don't hate on the player hate on the team. :brilsmurf:

Holy crap. I'm glad that he doesn't have anyone to throw to just yet, Or at least, no WRs... and their O-line isn't that great either. Evasive-wise, Cutler is nowhere near Rodgers and will be on his back the entire time.... I guess it's always better than Cutler to the Vikings.

Are you serious? He's easily as mobile as Aaron Rodgers and throws much better on the run. The Bears getting this guy is a scary thing for rival NFC North teams and fans. The NFC North now has two good QBs, when was the last time that happened?

"Orygunfan76" wrote:

I don't find him that evasive though, but he does do well on designed roll-outs... which is pretty much a must when you play for the Broncos. He can throw on the run, but that doesn't mean he'll make people miss easily. At least, I didn't see that alot.

I agree that this is quite scary, though. I mean, if they'd just sign a guy like Torry Holt, they might be contenders right away. Olsen's receiving ability, Forte who needs alot of coverage, also since he's a great receiver. Torry Holt who can stretch the field, like Hester, but can run pretty much every route.

Hey Jealous Pack Fans. The bears Defense is not aging. We only have 3 starters who are 30 and older on the defense Urlacher Alex Brown and Ogunleye. And Devin Hester played well, except when he played against the physical corners of green bay. So I guess that you guys are his kryptonite which i can admit. So Even if we get swept by you guys, we will still at least 10 games next season. Which is only a one game improvement. I definitely dont see us losing 7 or more games next season.
The Bears are the best team in NFL History, not mentioning the NFC North. \r\nForte>Grant, \r\nLuckman>Farve or Starr\r\nDevin Hester +(Draft Pick or Anquan Boldin)> Jennings and Driver\r\nGOOOO BEEEAAARRSSSSSSS!!!!

Yeah the whole point is that we don't want Bears fans to be happy, and for the most part, this trade made them insanely happy. 😉

"Jealous?"
OK........i don't know WHERE you come up with "jealous". We have AR, who is a pretty darn good QB, so why would we be jealous that the Bears got Cutler?
Maybe the Bears D isn't "old" years wise, but they sure arn't the great defense they were the year they lost the Super Bowl. Not even CLOSE.

Cutler is an instant upgrade over what you guys had........but then again, almost ANY QB would be (minus Tarvaris Jackson of course).
But that doesn't guarentee you ANY amount of wins. Your schedule will probably be harder this coming year, a "new" QB learning his new team and offense, it might be a really rough year for the Bears.

Jealous of the Bears?

Um, no.

Jealous of the Vikings? Yes. I want AP on my team.

AP over Grant is a big upgrade. Cutler vs Rodgers is a wash. Isn't Cutler 17-20? Plus, I think Zero posted their comparative stats. They're pretty much neck and neck.
