I heard on the radio today that both Clay and Randall are being let go.
I’m not really surprised, especially with matthews, but really thought they might keep Cobb.
Looks like they really are moving forward with the new guys.

Though if I remember correctly, it was rumored that the Packers tried to work out new deals with Bulaga, Cobb and Matthews... and they were all reported slightly different, but it sounded like the general idea/offer was to get them to take less money for something... either more guaranteed money or extension (for lower $$$ per year amounts), and I'm pretty sure Cobb's was labeled as an extension version for a lower amount.
Matthews is a versatility chess piece, and that's fit in perfectly with what Pettine wants to do... the only question is the price amount... and sounded like Pettine sorta said he might have apologized to Matthews for dropping him into coverage so often because they didn't quite have the coverage pieces they needed for the scheme and just happened that what Pettine thought was best for the team.
Also thought Matthews might be back, and released Perry instead... of course this could just mean they're going to be signing other FAs.
