I just wanted to point out that Gary Kubiak is available as the Packers look for an OC. It's been reported the Broncos were going to hire then, but that has changed since they decided to go with a different scheme and refused to hire the position coaches he wanted.
But Gary Kubiak was the head coach that replaced Dom Capers as head coach of the Texans (like Mike Pettine replaced Capers)
It was on the Texans team that Matt LaFleur got his first NFL job (Offensive quality control coach), which he had for two years before leaving/following Kyle Shanahan to join the Redskins.
Gary Kubiak has made Matt Schaub look like a decent starter while with the Texans, where he looked like a clear backup everywhere else.
In one year with Joe Flacco, Kubaik got Flacco's second best QB rating, and most TDs in a single season.
One year with Peyton Mamning and one Superbowl! Though Manning didn't look his best as he was injured and that was the last year Peyton ever played. But in the process made Brock Osweiler look like a decent starter and got a bidding war going for him. And then get a winning record the next year with Trevor Siemian (who?) as the starting QB.
Thetwo position coaches he reportedly wanted with him were OL and TE coaches.
Kubiak then stepped down from head coach due to health reasons and reportedly doesn't want to be head coach again.
I've just always liked his office and he's available and there is a clear connect to LaFleur... the only real problem I see is that Kubiak might want to call plays and LaFleur wants to call plays... and Kubiak health problem and if they want to rejoin each other or not.
