Jim Caldwell isn't the only coach the Packers have interviewed. They also have talked to former Colts coach Chuck Pagano, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Pagano has not hidden his desire to get back into coaching. He spent the season as a consultant for the NFL this season. Pagano worked with officials, [more]

I don't know about this one. I liked the Caldwell interview and I hope it's not just a Rooney-rule thing, but Pagano didn't really show anything to me that makes him stand out.

Caldwell got kicked out of Indianapolis because of Manning getting hurt and having an atrocious roster besides him. He got kicked out of Detroit after a 9-7 season, going 36-28 overall... While they went 7-9 the year before he came and they're at 5-10 now he's gone.

And maybe most importantly, he somehow made a Joe Flacco-led offense look pretty good, winning a Super Bowl in the process.

He's not my favourite candidate overall, but he'd be my choice between him, Pagano and Philbin.

I am not concerned. The only coaches GB can interview currently are the ones who are unemployed. NFL coaches will have to wait until the first round bye or the end of the post season for the respective team. College coaches may not be averrable to interview until after bowl season.

I think it's a safe assumption that they haven't interviewed their top candidates at this point.

Mucky Tundra (5h) : DAGGER
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : pass plays
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : Seems some of their passes are too deep. Reminds me of MLF as well.
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Oren Burks with a clutch pass break up...I will now light myself on fire
Mucky Tundra (5h) : a run on 2nd down and 17 from McVay? So that's where MLF gets it from!
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Do or die time for the Rams
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : Kicking field goals are impressive
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Oh that might be a backbreaker
Mucky Tundra (5h) : That's what I thought too, just wasn't sure
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : Kicking doesn't make much sense
Mucky Tundra (5h) : If the Rams score a TD on the upcoming drive, they go for 2, right?
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : Stafford is pretty good with 4th quarter comebacks. I would like to see it.

Martha Careful (8h) : does anyone have a thread to a broadcast? I do not have Peacock.
