If they're out of the playoffs, do you think the Packers should play all the best players, or try to develop the youngsters?

Personally, I'm mixed, because I feel like guys like Rodgers need work on developing chemistry with the young WRs (and checking the ball down)... though guys like Bulaga, I sorta want to make sure he's healthy for next year by not getting a 9 to 12 month injury in a meaningless game this season.

But like if WR Cobb/DT Daniels suddenly gets healthy, should they play him to get the best on the field? Or bench him, to keep trying to develop the young WRs/DL?

Also in theory the Packers could start a winning streak like they did in 2006, that carries into 2007, but those seem more the exceptions than the normal cases.

Also winning with hurt the draft position, currently at the 11th spot... but if they win three more games (Cardinals, Jets and either Lions/Falcons) then they could be looking at the 17th spot...

What are others thoughts? Play the best? Or try to develop the youth?

I'm wanting to develop the youth... try to get them ready for next year.

Youngsters, including Kizer. Even if our "starting" QB demands to be able to pad his stats for the rest of the year.

I'd like to see what some of these guys have. Donnerson, some of these PS guys too. See if Tony Brown can get thru a game without a personal foul.

Youngsters and have Kiser and Boyle split time and compete for the #2 spot.

Have the Pack been mathematically eliminated yet? Unfortunately, I suspect they won't make a move like this until that is the case.

I would IR Cobb and bring up Kumerow. I would like to have Aaron work more with Kumerow and the rookies as we work towards building chemistry for next year.

No doubt Aaron would like to see how big he can make his TD to INT ratio as so many seem to be using that as proof that he is not the problem and he is in fact having an amazing year statistically.

I don't give a rats ass about draft position but I can see the validity in playing the younger guys. If you have made up your mind you are moving on from Cobb, Matthews and Bulaga or anyone else for that matter next year I really don't see any need for them to be playing as it does take away from valuable reps for guys they might still be evaluating or wanting to get experience. If they still might be in your plans then they play.

And really, you'd have to trust him to be able to be healthy when you need him.

Also I'm tired of people trying to move/bench Bakhtiari/Bulaga... when someone else on the team comes even close to equaling matches their pass protection, then I might agree (or when their contract is up)... but so far no one else has been even close as far as the OTs.
