I know a few people who would be glad to see the Packers stop wasting time outs. 😂 😍

GREEN BAY – Aaron Rodgers, as usual, is taking it upon himself.

For the Packers’ offense to reach the level of efficiency and productivity it needs to, the two-time MVP quarterback said on Wednesday it’s on him to pick up the pace.

“The energy and the tempo starts with me in practice, in the game, and guys need to feel that even more,” Rodgers said. “So I need to amp up my level during the game and get us playing faster.”

That doesn’t necessarily mean more no-huddle, hurry-up stuff, but it could. More specifically, Rodgers referenced not wasting any more timeouts because the offense is slow getting either into or out of the huddle, and also trusting his progressions in the passing game to find the open receiver and get him the ball in a timely manner.

If he was a rookie QB, you could understand not being able to get a play off on time. But 14 years in? Unacceptable.

Props to AR to shouldering responsibility on some of the Packer woes, as a good leader should.

Maybe one day we will find out whether AR or MM is mostly to blame for the Packers impotent offense in 2018. Maybe right after they release the final documents on the Kennedy assassination.

A good athlete knows what to do. A great athlete knows how to do it. Aaron Rodgers knows how to do it because he has done it before. I just wonder why it has taken him until now to realize it and why, it seems, we have to go through this year after year.

In a way it reminds of the Chicago Bulls of the Jordan era. The score would be 76-75 after three and the bulls would win 110-85.

While exciting, it doesn't leave much room for error if the other teams don't cooperate.

True. It’s not just one thing, or one person that has caused all the screw ups.
Look how well they move the ball, only to sputter to a stop at the most inopportune time.
Add that to so many special teams mess ups. “Bing” Crosby missing field goals, fumbles by returners, illegal blocks on kick returns taking away long returns. Defensive screw ups at the worst times.
We could be in a good place had they just not made these screw ups.
How many times do you have to be told “don’t block in the back or hold on kickoff/ punt returns” ?????

beast (5h) : Wow, 95% drop in investment revenue? Would be interesting to hear the details of why...
dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

Zero2Cool (23-Jul) : Suppose if locker room is main issue, we sitting pretty
wpr (23-Jul) : I thought so Mucky. In those useless player polls GB always rates high overall. Locker is a part of it.
