Those are some pretty decent stats, but isolated like that it doesn't really show anything.
I'm the first one to say that I'm glad we cut Jordy, seeing as what he was set to earn this year, but I feel like he would've outperformed MVS had they both been on the Packers, statswise.
That said, I'm still on the fence about Marquez turning into a good overall receiver, but he has made the most of that height-speed advantage he has over nearly every corner in the league. It's nice to finally have a deep threat on the team who's being utilized.
I'm just hoping that he becomes more of a complete receiver. He's surprised me a bit in a positive sense, but with his physical traits and some good coaching, he should be able to improve into one of our better receivers. We'll see if he takes that step.
