Geronimo Allison needs surgery for core muscle

Packers receiver Geronimo Allison needs surgery to repair a core muscle injury, coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Monday, via Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. How do you tear a core muscle badly enough to need surgery? 😕 I struggle even to imagine what kind mechanism would cause such an injury. Those things are deep! I wonder if he was fucking around in the gym.

Yup, I'm hoping to see Kumerow as well ... he's route running might be very helpful right now.

He's been out for weeks with a hamstring injury... but just this week got the groin injury and it's that groin injury that needs surgery.

Also I'm getting tired of hearing that Allison has lost his #3 spot (to MVS)... Because it's just plain wrong on muliple levels....

Mainly the level that's implying Cobb is among the top 3 Packers WRs right now... as it's Cobb that has lost his spot! That's right, MVS is the Packers #2 WR this season so far!

Packers yardage order is Adams, Graham, MVS, Allison and then Cobb... Cobb also has the least amount of TDs.

So far, the biggest mistake was cutting Nelson over cutting Cobb... as Nelson/Rodgers red zone connection was special and now we're struggling most in the red zone and Nelson has more TDs than everyone but Adams.
