I know, I know, LEFT TURN LEFT TURN, but the constant rule changes in NASCAR are what turned me off. They were changing year to year and sometimes MID-SEASON. I understand how some can't get into racing, but I've always loved seeing the drafting, passing, bumping and strategy involved and when I felt like I needed to study rules to understand what to root for, I knew it was time to focus my time elsewhere. Once Dale Jr made his retirement known, I have not watched a single lap since. Didn't even watch any of his swan song season.
I feel the same will happen with NFL after Aaron Rodgers retires and the Packers return to the 70's. I'll still watch and support, of course, but the personal time investment outside of the 3 hours on Sunday's ... nope.
