Rodgers is high as a kite in that post game interview, I would not be surprised if there is some sort of tear in his knee.

I hope he’s not hurt bad. Without him, our season is done.
I don’t understand why, before he was hurt, why didn’t the Packers protect Rodgers with the kind of plays they had in the 2nd half? He was getting killed.

They probably were -- it's just that the interior was garbage, and the Bears will make most teams pay for that. Rodgers getting hurt would probably be enough of a jolt for the O-Line coach to get on their asses.

The coaches and players talked all week about the "Unknown "

New coaches in Chicago.
Mack joining them at the last second.

Don't forget The Bears players get paid to win also.
Nowhere is it posted that a team must lye down and let The Packers win.

The Bears threw everything they had at The Packers that 1st half.

Think about it , Rosgers doesn't go down the score is probably 10-0 at the half.

I love this unprepared shit

The Packers had a game plan, as did The Bears.

Just so happened that The Bears game plan worked better early.

The Packers made the adjustments necessary in the 2nd half to slow down The Bears defense and shut down their offense

Over analysis during the game really ruins it for me.
Just let the game play out and enjoy it.

Packers are 1-0.

Time to move on to The Vikings.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

If anything I'm more concerned about Clay. Even on two legs, he seems ineffective in every capacity. Tough to see. Was so happy to see offensive line start to settle in and play well. That's a key to the game and, while it took longer than it should have to come together, they did what they had to do to help us win this game.

I was thinking, okay, so coaches want to try and get some kind of advantage with the Vikings not knowing if Aaron is going to play. Here's a newsflash, no one is worried about DeShonne Kizer so Vikings won't spend a blink looking at Kizer tape no matter what.

Then I started thinking, what injury would cause you to grab the back of your knee? That makes me think something was pulled or strained.

Then I think back to earlier in the night and Mike McCarthy is normally quite jovial after a win, especially a win like that and he was downright bitter and pissy. To be fair, he's been like that the last couple seasons so I could be reading into it too much. Anyhow, I was thinking maybe he's pissed off because sure they won the game, but he's gonna be without QB1 for 2-4 weeks while he recovers from a ligament sprain?

In my opinion, and some of y'all are already on this, the McCarthy mystique, or whatever you want to call it, is taking multiple hits now. He can't seem to manufacture things even with a "new" playbook and the return of Joe Philbin, and it took his hall of fame QB playing on one leg to bail him out. I have to think, at some point, your pride takes a little bit of a hit. You even see it with Coach Belichick.

But he made adjustments and ya they totally worked; didnt hear macks or hicks name called once. Im pretty surprised. I had to keep looking if they were playing.

I almost give Mike McCarthy as much credit as rodgers.

beast (1h) : I thought the pro game was before the Super Bowl?
packerfanoutwest (2h) : ok now for the Pro Bowl Game in Hawaii
TheKanataThrilla (3h) : If I was Philly I would try to end it instead of punting it
Mucky Tundra (3h) : VICTORY! We have (moral) victory!
TheKanataThrilla (3h) : Hey they mentioned that we 3-peted
Mucky Tundra (3h) : seems to me the 49ers should have traded Aiyuk when they had the chance
Mucky Tundra (4h) : if the Eagles get it down to the 1, do they Tush Push or give it to Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (4h) : 49ers have a money problem if they want to sign their QB
Mucky Tundra (4h) : Wait for real? Didn't he just get an extension two years ago?
Zero2Cool (4h) : 49ers gonna trade Deebo. Interesting
TheKanataThrilla (4h) : Replays always never seem to show the holdings
TheKanataThrilla (4h) : Great throw by Hurts
Mucky Tundra (4h) : Where Carter falls prey to bad off the field influences (to be clear, not saying he'd clip someone though)
Mucky Tundra (4h) : Had Carter not gone to Philly were they already had a lot of old college friends, he ends up in a similar spot to Aaron Hernandez
Mucky Tundra (4h) : I think some of his coaches told scouts to stay away
Mucky Tundra (4h) : the street racing incident+conditioning and motivation problems
beast (4h) : Then Carter was street racing, where the other car crashed and people died... and other teams were scared to pick Carter for some reason
beast (4h) : I think the Saints traded up, giving their next year 1st to the Eagles, and then they sucked and Eagles got the 10th overall pick
packerfanoutwest (4h) : wtf Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (4h) : Getting Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round in 2023 was pretty darn good
Mucky Tundra (4h) : for some reason i'm thinking of a draft where the Eagles where in the mid 20s and a top player fell all the way to them
TheKanataThrilla (4h) : I think so. I would need to look it up. Think it may have been Carolina's pick.
Mucky Tundra (4h) : i'm not sure who i'm thinking of now
Mucky Tundra (4h) : oh fuck me i messed that up
Zero2Cool (4h) : Jordan Davis was 13th overall
Zero2Cool (4h) : Carter was 9th overall
Zero2Cool (4h) : Eagles had 15th and 10th selections, moved to 13 and 9 to get Davis and Carter back to back
Zero2Cool (4h) : Eagles traded up for Carter, didn't they?
Mucky Tundra (4h) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (5h) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
Mucky Tundra (5h) : And with a Pass Rush that might as well be on a milk cartoon and no Jaire
Martha Careful (5h) : I cant help but feel good about how well the Packers D played in Philly during the playoffs
Mucky Tundra (5h) : this game is over
Mucky Tundra (5h) : This might be the kill shot here
Mucky Tundra (5h) : oh that's such a bad penalty for KC after getting the 3rd down stop
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : Philly DL has come to play
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : Ceoper DeJean with the INT scored...bad memories of draft night
Mucky Tundra (5h) : ok scratch that
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Game feels like last years Super Bowl: 49ers started off in control, moved the ball well but didn't have much of a lead to show for it
TheKanataThrilla (5h) : KC jumped and they call it on Eagles. WTF refs
TheKanataThrilla (6h) : If he was offside why did you let him pop the QB?
TheKanataThrilla (6h) : I like that Eagles are controlling time of possession so far.
Mucky Tundra (6h) : If the Eagles are going to win, this is how they do it: jump all over the Chiefs and don't let it turn into a close one
TheKanataThrilla (6h) : Bad throw created that penalty.
TheKanataThrilla (6h) : Amazed Philly got that hit to the helmet call.
