I never liked the "he played against scrubs" argument. He also played with scrubs. Poor offensive lineman blocking, poorer QBs. Why does nobody bring that up? I'd like to see him in a game situation with Aaron.

I sometimes like the scrubs argument... especially for some that were saying QB Boyle should be the #2 QB after week 1 against the Titans. He was playing against scrubs with some of talented WRs. QB Boyle has showed some great aspects, but I don't think he's developed enough to be #2 (yet). Though I think he clearly shows the future potential to become a #2, just that he's not quite there.

I’m hoping that he plays against the Raiders while AR is on the field, so we can truly see what he can do.
Being the 3rd PS game, it’s the “dress rehearsal” for the season opener.

Dude is overrated. Packers goggles are in full force. Even if this guy makes the team, he will be lucky to contribute more than a few catches. He's already hit his ceiling. Yawn. Yes I'm being serious. He's an average player, possibly, but he'll never be more. I'd prefer the Packers keep working with and developing guys that have higher ceilings, even if they have lower floors.

Put him on the practice squad. If he gets signed away, so be it. They'll always be many more similar players available. He reminds me of another Biegel or Fuckrail, but probably a little better. Average white players that a lot of Packers fans love for some reason even though it's obvious to the objective eye that they are marginal players at best. In the case of Biegel and Fuckrail, I expect them to wash out of the league entirely soon enough. Kumerow may be able to hang out on the bottom of rosters for a few years, like a Brett Swain.

You know what? I think if Kumerow does make the team, he has to beat out Geronimo. Geronimo and Yancey. If it was me, I'd keep Yancey.

Davante
Cobb
Yancey
EQ
Jmon
Valdez-Scantling.

Some say Trevor Davis makes it as the PR, but I'd keep Quentin Rollins for that. Dude is the defense's slash guy. He can play just about anywhere.

I think Kumerow is clearly in the top 7 WRs, I'm just not sure they keep 7 WRs.

No way does GB keep all three rookies on the 53. MVS or St Brown goes to the PS and if they get picked up they get picked up. They are replaceable.

Packers have normally protected their rookies that show potential, of course we have a new GM too to consider and we don't know how he does his things.

But normally the Packers only keep 8 or 9 OL... but when they draft two in the same year and they both show potential, they have kept 10 OL. I think the same thing will happen with the Packers keeping 7 WRs with drafting 3 rookies.

That of course is something that can be coached. I think he makes the roster, but I don't expect him to get more than 25+ catches and couple touchdowns.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
