It sounds like Option A isn't an option anymore.

In reality we are talking about resold tickets only. I have to wonder how many people trust the internet enough to buy a ticket online and also don't embrace technology enough to have a smart phone.

I too came to the smart phone party very late. I only did so bc the provider dumbed down the flip phone technology in order to drive more people to smart phones.

It looks like you can still get tickets if you don't have a smartphone.

https://www.packers.com/tickets/mobile-ticketing

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A SMARTPHONE?

If you do not have a smartphone, please contact the Packers ticket office at (920) 569-7501 or tickets@packers.com for assistance.

WHAT IF I NEED HELP ON GAMEDAY? BROKEN DEVICE? BATTERY ISSUES?

You may visit the ticket office located next to the Miller Lite gate on the North end or the auxiliary ticket office on the south end of the stadium on gameday. Please have a valid ID for the name on the account.

So basically it looks like your options are to use the mobile ticketing system, or visit the ticket office on gameday.

Modern technology also makes it easier to rip people off.
Even lots easier to print fake tickets to rip people off.
The reality is, if a country wanted to take over our country, just knock out computers, and we would be helpless.
Couldn’t get money out of banks or ATMs, couldn’t buy food or any products, could knock out electricity and all not-so “smart phones”.
I bet it will happen.
Technology makes things easy, but there are down sides.

As someone in the tech sector, it doesn't explain how smartphone's are going to protect against fraud any better than a printed ticket. I would think smartphones would be more rampant with fraud, it's just white-collar fraud (e.g., someone needs knowledge of the tech). I also don't want to offend older generations but from my understanding, this might alienate quite a number of them who have not adopted mobile devices. For a league and team so steeped in tradition and history, it seems a little wrong.

NFL, Inc. may pay lip service to tradition but they don't really care about my generation any longer. As we age we become less relevant. Everything they have done in the last few years is to target and attract the younger generations. Do you think as a group boomer care about stadiums being wired for wifi? Not really. I use it when I'm there but it isn't a deal breaker. On the tv all the graphics they have is for the younger audience. Sometimes I find it too distracting. Redzone is totally wasted on us.

The list goes on and on my friend.

People that spend money to go to a game, and then spend the whole time at the game with their faces in their cell phones.....geez.....why bother going to a game if you are going to do that???
WATCH THE GAME! That’s what you paid for!

Zero2Cool (19-Jan) : I just saw score. Teams are really struggling with place kicks.
