Maybe next year start thinking about this. It's just not time yet.

We could trade back into the first round for a QB if you really want one. Or just wait until later... worked for the Patriots. šŸ™‚

I just think he could be molded into a great player for 10 years after sitting behind Aaron Rodgers for 2-3 years. I'm not so sure he will be as successful without that training opportunity behind a Rodgers, Brady, Brees, etc. It would also give the Packers a great backup QB, which as we seen with the Eagles and Packers last year, is critical. I have little faith in Kizer and no faith in Hundley, whom I hope is cut.

with so many glaring needs:
- cb
- edge
- ILB
- OL
it would be a shame to not address these needs. I agree with other posters....no need to draft a QB. Doing so would admit the trade for Kizer was idiotic.

As for glaring needs, that's your opinion. It's not fact. We don't know who's poised to make a jump. We don't know who's gonna regress. We don't know who's gonna get injured. You get best football player. 2005 we didn't need QB. It'd be idiotic to draft need and ignore your board. Brian G says if all things equal, then need plays into it. That's right approach. But if QB at 14 and you have him as best rated player by large margin, you draft him. If you don't, what the hell is the point of evaluating players at all?

This team needs better football players. Any positions they can.

Z2C, the glaring lack of depth and talent on the d side of the ball necessitates a defensive heavy draft.
why waste arods remaining years?
you say i dont know who is poised to make a jump....ok, give me some candidtes... i am all ears. perhaps randall or hyde!!!!
we also dont know who is ready to fade, get hurt, like CM3 (again)
we need to draft defense, not QB
