We had a thread on breakout players, but who are your marginal guys who you look at to take a step this year? There are a number of guys who could contribute.
VINCE BIEGEL: With a DC who can scheme him to the QB and an offseason in the pros, dude has a chance to get it done. Clay is off the juice and Nick breaks his hands 2-3 times every year. Biegel had production as a Badger, his ceiling as a pro is unknown.
KEVIN KING: Not really a developmental guy, we know he has skills. Fought hard with a bad shoulder, imo. I think he’ll show up, but he has to prove it.
TREVOR DAVIS: Packers need a perimeter guy who can get deep. TD is that, but can he run routes? Hell, can he figure out when to field punts and when to take the touchback? Dude has potential.
MICHAEL CLARK: Is he a WR or a TE? Then again, we could ask the same about Graham. Probably still not polished enough for WR, but could run down the seam as a TE. I liked what I saw in late season garbage time.
DEVANTE MAYS: Dude has the skills, just needs to get out of his own way. Relax, let it open up for you. Dropped into the late rounds due to injury.
HERB WATERS: His defensive debut was put off for a year due to injury. He’s got the skills, can he put it all together?
JOSH HAWKINS: Sam Shields mini me. Has the speed, wants to tackle and bump and run like Sam. Good depth guy, hasn’t proven he can start.
