I think he'd be good signing, what says you?

Jordan Matthews is one of the top remaining free agents on the market. He already has visited the Cardinals, and Thursday, Matthews took a trip to Green Bay, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Matthews, 25, was a second-round pick of the Eagles in 2014. They traded him to the Bills in exchange for Ronald Darby [more]

Should be a cheap signing with how his last season went. Did he leave without a deal?

Another very good slot guy, but with outside WR size, could potentially replace Cobb if Cobb isn't willing to lower his price when he becomes a FA.

I like it would give the Packers another outside WR to pair up with Adams and lessens the need for the Packers to draft one early. I can't see the price tag being too high either considering his numbers last year.

Probably a 1-2 year prove it deal like Wilkerson, these are the types of players I've been wanting the Packers to go after. Talented players needing a bounce back year to get one last big payday and with Rodgers they have a realistic chance of getting it.

Sign Mathews, draft another WR in the 2nd/3rd (like Chark) and maybe another flier on someone in the 6th/7th. That would solidify the position pretty well.

I may be a bit off here (or everywhere as some have said) but do we really need another WR?

Jordy was an player with excellent body control and ball skills... we lost that, but we have depth here.

Davis should be able to take a large step forward, that gives you three good options. Yancy is a player, throw in some college footage of him, you can put him into the rotation and should perform. Allison has flashed at times...

Two TE sets with Graham and Kendricks is also a viable option in passing plays... both should be able to place stress up the seam or those mid range outs..

So yes, we could bring in more talent, but with cap room a concern and a defense that needs work, unless we get a good deal, do we really need more WR talent over another spot. Guard comes to mind... there is a spot that I would rather sign a vet than lean on a rook.

WR is the one spot you can unearth talent consistently later in the rounds. I think that is the play here. IMO.
