Does this TE Dickson guy have anything left?

Both the Falcons and Packers have interest in free agent tight end Ed Dickson, according to Vaughn McClure and Josina Anderson of ESPN.com (Twitter links).

Dickson, 30, didn’t play a large receiving role during his first three years with the Panthers, but an injury to starting tight end Greg Olsen allowed Dickson to play on 80% of Carolina’s offensive plays last season. While he wasn’t a world-beater, Dickson did manage 437 yards and a touchdown, solid numbers considering he’d managed just 370 receiving yards from 2014-16

Id rather the dude be 6'5 and above - I dont like these short TEs that we seem to aquire. Think about it - our last 2 good TEs that we had besides the lazy bennett was cook and finley and both were 6'5+

seriously its not that hard - pick someone 6'5 and that can catch. And thats got some weight to him (so means he can block). thats it.

seriously its not that hard - pick someone 6'5 and that can catch. And thats got some weight to him (so means he can block). thats it.

Yes Finally and Cook were tall, but they were also athletic freaks who were athletic enough to play WR (and at times they did) despite their large size.

If you want a 6'5" less athletic version of Richard Rodgers then yeah just go out and sign any tall people... If you want an actual receiving treat, it's much harder
